“The Nervica of Obsessions — According to Us” is a crazy performance, performed by the theater group of the Oświęcim Cultural Center, based on the text of the aforementioned humorist. What will happen when Dr. Owl's office meets people struggling with unusual behaviors and disorders... on a psychological background...?
It turns out that the waiting room with each passing moment begins to resemble a place where common sense is by far the least necessary equipment. We meet patients for whom everyday life turns out to be much more difficult than for the average person. We are dealing with various ailments — from arrhythmomania and nosophobia, fear of stepping on lines, through palilalia, Tourette's syndrome, to the eponymous neurosis of compulsions.
The show is full of dynamic dialogues, chaos, funny situations, characteristic characters and surprising twists. Young actors face challenging roles, creating a colorful gallery of characters that will be hard to forget.
In a nutshell: “Neurosis of Obsessions — Our Way” is a comedy about unusual patients, an even more unusual doctor and about the fact that sometimes each of us has our own little quirks.
