Mouth Ulcers

London-based newcomers Mouth Ulcers represent a new generation of dark post-punk. Musically in the tradition of The Cure, Bauhaus and Twin Tribes, they give the genre an urgent, young and almost exhilarating energy. Atmospheric guitars, tribal-like percussion and deep, reverberating baritone vocals characterize their sound, which was aptly described as “music that vampires would dance to” — dark, physical and irresistibly cool. The quartet combines the classic darkness of post-punk with fresh energy and is thus part of a new wave of up-and-coming acts that are currently redefining the underground. Her music is immediate and lively and combines menace with drive forward and a dense atmosphere with driving dynamism.

Then Comes Silence

Then Comes Silence from Stockholm has been one of the mainstays of the European dark wave and post-punk scene for years. With hits such as “Strangers”, “We Lose the Night” and “The Dead Cry for No One”, the band has also made a name for itself internationally and gained a loyal fan base. With their new single “Judgement Day”, Then Comes Silence builds on their unmistakably gloomy sound and shows once again why they belong to the defining bands of modern post-punk.

The Depths

THE DEPTHS from Athens are among the new up-and-coming acts on the European post-punk and dark wave scene. Founded by musician and producer Nick Chrysochoos, the band combines atmospheric post-punk, dark melodies and driving rhythms with emotional songwriting. In April 2026, THE DEPTHS released their self-titled debut EP, which quickly attracted attention even beyond Greece. With songs like “Dazed”, the band presents an intense, melancholy and at the same time powerful sound and thus sets a strong first exclamation mark on the European dark wave and post-punk scene.
