Preparing young musicians specifically for opera business is the main objective of the Orchestra Academy of the Komische Oper Berlin. Particular attention is paid, among other things, to accompaniment of singers in various formations of opera and chamber music by working musically with singers and studying the accompaniment of vocal parts.

In the Orchestra Academy's chamber concert, instrumentalists come into focus far away from the big stage and show what they can do. The program consists of works that focus on the individual instruments and their special features and thus promises a varied evening. Whether violin, harp or trumpet — they all make their big appearance on a small scale.
