British Army meteorologist James Stagg (Andrew Scott) must make the most important decision of his career — the forecast he makes could determine the success or failure of the largest military operation in history. Locked in an atmosphere of distrust and pressure from top commanders, Stagg fights a psychological battle against time, supported only by Captain Kay Summersby (Kerry Condon). It's up to General Dwight D. Eisenhower (Brendan Fraser), who must decide whether to proceed with the invasion or delay it — at the risk of Germany discovering the plans of the Allies.
