Every Sunday at 12:00 - guided tour of the Warsaw Museum. Discover the secrets of Warsaw and the stories of unusual tenement houses. Discover the stories hidden in the things of Warsaw.
A fascinating journey through the history of Warsaw through the objects that make up its identity. The permanent exhibition “Warsaw things” at the Museum of Warsaw is a unique collection of more than 7 thousand exhibits. It tells the stories of the life of the inhabitants of the city, its culture, architecture and changes over the centuries. Each object has its own history, which is intertwined with the fate of the city and its inhabitants.
The guide draws attention to the most interesting and significant objects, such as fragments of original decorations from the Saxon Palace, everyday objects from the occupation, or unique souvenirs from the reconstruction of the city after World War II.
A tour of the exhibition “Warsaw Things” is not only a history lesson, but also an invitation to reflect on how the past shapes our everyday life and future.
