Niedzielne Teatralia: Fiksy na fleku

Mania goes to Łódź with the conviction that an ordinary visit to her aunt awaits her. Meanwhile, he finds himself in a city where the language has its own flavor, rhythm and color! “Gallants”, “bigiel” and “tit” sound like magic spells, and each new word opens the door to another extraordinary adventure.

The show “Fiksy na fleku” invites children and adults to a world in which the Łódź dialect becomes the main protagonist!

🗣️ Every word has a story

In a show prepared by the Foundation — oh Gustawy! and Teatr Małe Mi we will meet Aunt Krysia — a lady extremely elegant, energetic and always “on the fleece” (i.e. orderly and well-groomed).

Together with Mania, they go on a bigiel (walk) and visit the famous Unicorn Stable. Later, they look into a bakery full of sweet surprises and run into Antek z Bałut, who runs with drachmas and bobs. Each of these meetings is a new dose of humor and proof that words can entertain as much as the theater itself!

💡 Why plan this evening?

“Fiksy na fleku” was created out of the need to popularize Łódź's style — lively, colourful and full of lightness. The show proves that discovering local phrases is a lot of fun, and that language is more than just everyday communication. It is history, identity and a unique way of looking at the world. After this presentation, the children will surely come home with a new linguistic curiosity!
