The Incredible Adventures of Ten Socks

Based on the text by Justyna Bednarek

The show Amazing Adventures of Ten Socks will take viewers of the Pinocchio Theatre in Łódź not into one, but into ten worlds — created primarily thanks to the exceptional power of unrestrained imagination. The script written “for five actors, ten arms, ten legs” is a bit of a crime story, a fairy tale with a moral and such with a happy ending. Jumping with our socks into the hole under the washing machine, we will embark on a mysterious and surprising journey, and along the way we will discover the answer to the question that the whole world has been thinking about forever...

Each of us once wondered where socks thrown into the washing machine disappear. That they disappear is a fact, since we put them in pairs, and we take out single ones. The Pinocchio team seems to know the answer to a question that has tormented not only children, but also sock-loving adults for centuries. Well, the missing socks go out into the world, make dizzying careers and have great adventures: they become movie stars, detectives, mouse moms or just seal the crow's nest.
