The Invisible Biosphere

One of the fundamental questions of humanity is the question of life. What is it? When did it start? Does it exist only on our planet? It would seem that we already know quite a lot about him, and it still surprises us.

Deep under the earth's crust, hundreds of meters below the surface, in complete darkness, without air and with trace amounts of water, in the pores and crevices of hard rock, scientists have discovered a huge variety of microorganisms that thrive in extreme conditions. These organisms are called extremophiles.

The film “The Invisible Biosphere” prompts us to rethink not only the origin and evolution of life on Earth, but also its possible existence throughout the Universe.

Before the screening there is a live show in Polish.
