On the occasion of the 13th birthday of the Variete Muza Theater, we invite you to a concert like no other in Koszalin.

This time we will move into the world of music inspired by the 80s — sometimes characteristic synthesizers, electronic sounds, expressive rhythm and extremely melodic compositions. Imagine a night city. Neons reflected in the windows of cars. The lights of the great metropolis. The sound of synthesizers, electronic drums and melodies that sound like a lost soundtrack to an 80s movie has just been found.

This style of music is called synthwave.

The name may sound modern, but its musical roots are very close to those who remember the 80s. Synthwave draws inspiration from the film music, pop and electronics of the time. In it you can hear sounds associated with old synthesizers, music from movies and series, nightly radio broadcasts or the characteristic atmosphere of great hits from forty years ago.SynthWave is contemporary music created from the DNA of the 80s — inspired by the sound of analog synthesizers, sci-fi cinema, iconic soundtracks, arcade games and the atmosphere of a time when the future was imagined quite differently.

A bit of “Blade Runner”. A little “Drive”. A bit of “Stranger Things” vibe. And then there's the energy of a live concert.

However, one thing is important: it will not be a disco, a club party or a DJ performance.

It will be a concert performed live on the stage of the Variete Muza Theater.

The artists will take the audience on a musical journey inspired by the sound of the 80s, but presented in a modern, concert form. There will be a lot of melodies, spatial sounds of synthesizers, a strong rhythm and a characteristic, cinematic atmosphere.

Synthwave is often referred to as music that allows you to move to another world for a while. One recalls the youth and times of the 80s, to others old movies, the first computer games or music that was once listened to from tape recorders.

It is not necessary to know this genre or be a lover of electronic music to have a good time at this concert. On the contrary — we want it to be above all a beautiful, musical evening and an opportunity to meet together. It is possible to come with a husband or wife, with friends, with family, and also invite someone on a special date. In the Variete Theater, the Muse of the concert is listened to at the tables, so you can sit quietly, talk before the start of the event, order something good and spend a few hours together in a special atmosphere.

It is also an excellent option for those people who like to learn new things, but at the same time appreciate melodic, elegant and atmospheric music.

We want to celebrate the 18th birthday of the Variete Muza Theater in a completely new way. Over the years we have presented you with many different genres, artists and musical stories. But such a world has not yet existed on our stage.
