Three young people imagine that the climate disaster has occurred and that they are sitting at the International Court of Justice for Children. In the dock: Her neighbor Mrs. Salzmann, who must explain that she is not partly responsible for climate change due to her lifestyle. At the end of the hearing, the children in the audience take on the duties of the jury and have to make a difficult decision: Is Mrs. Salzmann also responsible? Does she have to be found guilty or not?
Director Yüksel Yolcu and his ensemble introduce us to the central question of our time in a multimedia production based on the book by Thomas Sutter: When do we understand that there is no Plan B for this world? Will we still be able to stop climate change?
Video contributions by Greta Thunberg and documentary videos find their place in this production as well as performative and associative elements. A room for thought is created that provides impetus for everyone to take the reins of action into their own hands. For this production, a play with children and young people was staged at the ATZE Music Theatre for the first time. Because it is primarily children who look to the future with fears and do not understand why adults are still evading responsibility.
