Four class losers versus a ruthless sex education teacher at a Jesuit male high school and embroiled in the Lima civil war of the 90s. People disappear here every day. It is not surprising that the unfortunate joke, which turned into a conflict between the boys and, as a result of a sharp escalation, was completely out of their control, could have gone unnoticed - like a pin in the dust of a Lima street.
Manu, Beto, Carlos and Moco meet after twenty years at a reunion of graduates. Coincidence meant that none of them was held accountable for the act committed. Returning to the sins of youth will not be easy. Why are they coming back? What are they running away from? What are they risking by revealing their secret?
A thriller full of dark humor by one of the most popular contemporary Peruvian writers in the adaptation of Piotr Pacześniak is a story about freedom of choice. Can we call any choice free? And to what extent are we responsible for it? How much of what we do is the legacy of our fathers and mothers, the city and the country, and how much of our own decisions? In trying to understand and justify every evil deed by circumstances, do we not come dangerously close to moral relativism, which makes it impossible to distinguish between good and evil? But do we have the moral right to condemn every evil deed?
Suggested audience age 16+ (vulgar language).
