NIGHT OF “BAD” WOMEN

First there was an accusation. Then came the fear.
Witch. Guilty before sentencing? Or a heroine whose story we have told in an inappropriate way for centuries?

We invite you to the lecture of Alexandra Herzyk “The Witch Dies Last”. On October 16 at 18:00 in the Trolleybus Depot we will look where history mixes with legend, and facts are lost under layers of myths.

What did the witchcraft trials really look like? How did medieval criminal law work and what role did the Inquisition play? Finally, how much of what we “know” about witch hunts today is based on the sources, and how much do we owe to later ideas?

At 20:00 we will turn off the lights and the Night of the “bad” women will begin - a movie marathon under the sign of horror. Witches, dark powers and women who should definitely not be underestimated.
