Hollywood stuntman Ryan Gosling moonlights as a getaway driver in Nicolas Winding Refn’s modern classic of neo-noir, which begins as a heist picture and ends in a furious rampage of revenge across LA. Blending suspense, synth pop, romance and brutal violence, Drive is noir through a characteristically idiosyncratic Refn lens.
Presented by Distorted Frame in collaboration with Violet Hour. Distorted Frame is a film club which presents screenings of uniquely digital films. Violet Hour showcases the dark, transgressive and enigmatic side of the screen.
