Nordic evening with Ørestad Sound & Science

In cooperation with Ørestad Sound & Science festival 2026, under the theme NORDEN, we open the doors for an exciting evening in good company with choral music, author talk and folk music.

The local Ørestad Choir opens with Nordic music. Then you can experience author Charlotte Weitze in conversation with librarian Laura Noszczyk about the novel 'Wolf's Milk', which has been nominated for the Nordic Council Literature Prize. The evening will end with a concert by 'Petersen & Ugorskij', which with Danish/Faroese vocalist Katrina Petersen in the lead creates a colorful universe where Nordic songcraft and new folk music meet.

Practical InfoIt is free to attend the event and there is no registration.

The event is organized in cooperation with Ørestad Sound & Science Festival, which in 2026 focuses on the theme NORDEN.

About ØS26 the theme NordenWhat does it mean to be Nordic... Actualized by a tumultuous time of crisis and war close to the Nordic region with authoritarian forces on the rise, ØS-Festival 2026 will set the stage for sound and science, focusing on Nordic perspectives and issues. What are our values when it comes down to it? Is there an 'Ours'? Is there a sound, a special sound? Do we have a Nordic bond and a vision that permeates art and science? ØS26 will investigate and develop this in a series of Nordic proposals for bridge building, action and room for manoeuvre.
