Mediate Nazi persecution, art robbery and restitution

How can Nazi persecution, art robbery and restitution be conveyed in a school and extracurricular context? As part of the project “Art, Robbery and Return — Forgotten Life Stories”, students, together with artists and relatives, have developed different approaches to the life stories behind restituted works of art. The result was films and two workshop formats that open up new perspectives on the history of the works of art and the people behind them.

The event provides insights into the project process, presents the resulting films and workshops and invites you to think together about ways of teaching in schools and museums.
