The new adaptation of one of the most outstanding French novels of the 20th century by Albert Camus is still an extremely topical story about the search for meaning in a world where all meaning has been lost.

We are watching the story of a young man, a modest official, whose daily routine is not interrupted even by the death of his mother. Everything changes one hot day when a tragic event occurs on the beach with his participation. Sparing dialogues and beautiful black and white pictures, which are a tribute to classic cinema, build a unique atmosphere of the film.
