Aliens, directed by François Ozon, is a new adaptation of one of the most outstanding French novels of the 20th century by Albert Camus. Presented in the Main Competition of the Venice Festival, it is still an extremely topical story about the search for meaning in a world where all meaning has been lost.
Stranger is the story of Meursault, a young man, a modest official whose daily routine is not interrupted even by the death of his mother. Everything changes one hot day when a tragic event occurs on the beach with his participation.
The latest work by François Ozon (Double Lover, 8 Women) stars Benjamin Voisin (Lost Illusions, Summer of '85), Rebecca Marder (My Crime), as well as Cezar-awarded Pierre Lotin (High and Low). Sparing dialogues and beautiful black and white pictures, which are a tribute to classic cinema, build a unique atmosphere of the film.
