Brief description of the performance, in the pen of the creators:
In an eggplant standing on the sidelines, the paths of various characters cross. A rich old man Pantalone arrives there, hoping to marry the young Rosalia, the daughter of a housewife. It is also the meeting place of another future couple: Madame Lucrezia and Florin, the son of Dottore, who is on the verge of bankruptcy, who sees in his son's lucrative marriage the only salvation. However, fate wants young hearts to ignite with love for each other, against the will of their parents. The COMEDIANTY troupe once again presents a gallery of comedy types in a theatrical mirror. There will be costumes, sudden twists and turns typical for Italian comedy, and classic qui pro quo situations.

NATIONAL STAGE OF THE COMEDY DELL'ARTE AT THE PRAGUE THEATRE 52:
Created on the initiative of Teatr Praska 52 and Studio Dono in May 2016, it is the only such stage in Poland offering permanent encounters with art from the sixteenth century. Within its framework, the troupe COMEDIANTY works creating performances according to all the rules of Italian comedy, from real leather masks to looped intrigue full of unexpected twists. This combination of a centuries-old form with contemporary associations, references and insights makes this art not only current, but above all extremely attractive.
