Faces of Czapski — curatorial guided tour

The jubilee exhibition, created on the 130th anniversary of the artist's birth and in the year under his patronage, becomes an opportunity to look at the multiple facets of Czapski's art — hence its title. The curator and author of the script of the exhibition, Dr. Magdalena Ludera, placed Czapski as a painter and cartoonist in the center, and focused her particular interest on the creative process. She pushed aside the better-known Czapski as a writer, diarist and art critic, as well as Czapski as a witness to the painful history of Poland and Europe of the 20th century.
