“Real Life Paintings” — painting - Agata Chojnacka-Pyrgiel

Agata Chojnacka-Pyrgiel: The daily rush, duty, meetings and conversations with people, prayer, objects, interiors are very close to me. They are elements of life. I process them into images composed of color and texture (they fascinate me, I try to combine them). The presented paintings are frankly a warm-up for me. After painting them, I have another one in my head. Sometimes I will dream, and sometimes I will be inspired by a picture from life. This whole process mobilizes for action and inspires hope. The realization of the exhibition is a summary of a certain stage in life and a little the beginning of something new. I invite you to see my first solo exhibition.

Agata Chojnacka-Pyrgiel, Radomian. A graduate of the Kazimierz Pulaski University of Technology in Radom (now the University of Technology and Humanities in Radom), Faculty of Teacher Education in the field of Fine Arts (now Faculty of Art). She obtained a diploma in painting in the studio of Prof. Andrzej Gieraga in 2000, an annex in the workshop graphics studio of Prof. Krzysztof Wyzner. Since 2000 he has been running the Youth Art Studio “Format” at the Helena Stadnicka Youth Cultural Center in Radom. In 2017-2022, she held the position of deputy director of the institution. To this day, he holds a managerial position in the institution. He has been the originator and organizer for more than twenty years of the National Biennial of Children and Youth Graphics “Printing House of Imagination”. He is engaged in painting, drawing, graphics. She took part in numerous group exhibitions.
