25 years ago, the Polish music scene lost one of its most outstanding artists - Grzegorz Ciechowski. The poet, songwriter, composer and record producer has forever gone down in history as the charismatic singer of the band Republika.

On the anniversary of his death, Leszek Biolik - former bassist of the Republic, renowned musician, composer and longtime collaborator of Ciechowski - invites you to a unique, intergenerational musical project “Citizens of the Republic”. This extraordinary event will combine the timeless work of the Republika band with the energy and sensitivity of artists of the younger generation.

There are many interpretations of the works of the Republic, but the presence of Leszek Biolik gives the performances a special credibility. As a co-creator of the band's distinctive sound, he helps to preserve both the musical identity and the unique atmosphere of the Republic's work.

Julia Pietrucha, Mery Spolsky, Michał Wiraško and Piotr Zioła will perform alongside Leszek Biolik and prominent musicians of the Polish rock scene. Each of them will bring their own interpretation to the repertoire, creating a unique musical meeting of generations.

During the concert, the biggest hits will sound, among them: “Kombinat”, “Talking Heads”, “White Flag”, “Telephones”, “Do not ask about Poland” and “Mamona”. Works inspired by the works of George Orwell and Kurt Vonnegut, full of literary depth, intelligent irony and penetrating observations of reality, do not lose their relevance and power of impact.

“Citizens of the Republic” is not only a concert, but also a musical tribute to one of the most important ensembles of the Polish music scene. It is an evening full of emotions, memories and artistic interpretations.
