Part of “Love is a Verb #2”

In an unstable world, love is more than romance — it is resistance, empathy, and political force. The performance by ABA NAIA and Occupy House Club! , supported by Anna Koddenbrock, explores intimacy, desire and coexistence in a hyperconnected society and transforms vulnerability into collective imagination.
What does it mean to talk about love in an unstable world? What happens before love is created — which traces shape us and our relationships? Love not just as romance, but as a force that insists on connection, despite all political turmoil. Loving means embodying empathy and dreaming of a better world. Staying resilient to what overwhelms us. To recognize that we belong to a world that we did not choose and that we create together.
In the face of these divided circumstances, we build an altar of love: gestures, rituals, confessions and dance out our pain and euphoria. We look for our strengths and weaknesses and ask ourselves: How do you remain yourself, vulnerable, loved? Love becomes the practice of resistance, intimacy, and imagination.
Developed by the performing arts collective ABA NAIA and the young Occupy House Club team, supported by Anna Koddenbrock, the performance explores how love works in our hyper-connected society and invites the audience to reflect on love, desire and living together.
