From Mickiewicz to Masłowska. Rap in literature — workshops for young people

On November 5th at 11.00, a workshop for young people entitled “From Mickiewicz to Masłowska will be held in our library. Rap in Literature.”

The classes will be led by Małgorzata Kafel — a graduate of Comparative Literature at the Jagiellonian University and a graduate of literary translation studies at the UNESCO Chair for Research on Translation and Intercultural Communication of the Jagiellonian University, as well as international relations at the Cracow University of Economics. Translator and researcher of literature. Author of several dozen translations — mainly youth literature, fictionalized biographies, historical and moral novels. He is preparing a doctoral dissertation on the category of mood in literature.

The meeting will be organized as part of the project “Between verses and riffs — music of words and sound”, co-financed by the Ministry of Culture and National Heritage from the Culture Promotion Fund.
