From Dusk Till Dawn | City Movie

A classic from the Robert Rodriguez catalog, being a kind of hybrid of horror, road cinema, gangster film and black comedy. The Mexican director, with the outstanding scriptwriting assistance of Quentin Tarantino, creates a truly explosive mixture. Tarantino plays one of the main characters in the film, a certain Richie Gecko. His brother, Seth Gecko, is brilliantly played by George Clooney, and the stellar cast is completed by Harvey Keitel, Juliette Lewis and the phenomenal Salma Hayek.

The aforementioned Gecko brothers are ruthless criminals who must make their way from the States to Mexico. For this purpose, they kidnap Pastor Jacob along with his family. They all set off for a subordinate speleon called “Titty Twister”, where the brothers are to meet their Mexican contact. What awaits them on the spot will exceed the expectations of themselves and the film audience.

In addition to the crazy script and the selection of the cast, an important element of this cult production is also a great soundtrack with hits such as ZZ Top or Tito & Tarantula.
