Contact prints — photography with a ghost | Warsztat Fotograficzny

You have a unique opportunity to take part in a professional photo session. In the intimate atmosphere of the Photo Workshop we will make portraits one of the oldest photographic techniques, dating back to the beginning of the 20th century — contact prints. At the end of the visit, each person will receive two prints of the photos taken. Such photographs are not only a beautiful souvenir from an unusual meeting, but also an original and unique gift.

The meeting will take place in an intimate group, which will allow each participant to work independently with the technique, freely ask questions and receive individual support. The workshop is also designed for people without photographic experience.

The workshop will be led by Roman Kravchenko — a well-known and respected historian, photographer and educator from Ukraine. Since 2015 he has been running the Photography Workshop in Hartwigów Street. The artist not only takes pictures with noble photography techniques, but also restores their memory and shows subsequent generations how pictures were taken in the past. During his visit to Mr. Roman, he not only poses for the lens, but above all learns the history of photography, checks how cameras from the turn of the 19th and 20th centuries work, or looks into the photographic darkroom. Under the guidance of an experienced photographer, you can also participate in the process of creating your own photo.
