Mariola Brzoska — graduated with distinction from the Academy of Music in Krakow, in the organ class of Prof. Mirosława Semeniuk-Podrazy. She completed her postgraduate studies with Prof. Julian Gembalski at the Academy of Music in Katowice. She took part in numerous courses devoted to the interpretation of organ music conducted by, among others, M. C. Alain, G. Bovet, J. Laukvik, L. Lohmann, H. Meister. She has also repeatedly participated in master classes conducted by the English organist David Titterington as a scholarship holder of the Dartington International Summer School (UK) and at the F. Liszt Academy of Music in Budapest. He holds a doctorate in musical art in the artistic discipline of instrumentalist.
She has performed at many organ festivals in Poland as well as abroad (Austria, Greece, Germany, Slovakia, Hungary, Italy). She also completed her theological studies. In the field of church music, he conducts a lively activity. He is a member of the Association of Polish Church Musicians and works in the Diocesan Commission for Liturgy and Church Music. Since 1996 she has been associated with the Gliwice Centre for the Education of Church Musicians, where from the beginning she has been the director and teacher of the Church Music Study and of the Diocesan School of Music of the Second Century in Gliwice, founded on her initiative.
As an educator, she has significant successes — her students are laureates of numerous national and international competitions. She also shares her knowledge as a consultant to the Center for Art Education. She actively works as an animator of musical life — she is the artistic director of the festival “Organ Concerts in Konwikt” in Tarnowskie Góra and the Toszeck Festival of Organ and Chamber Music. For her outstanding contribution to the dissemination of culture in 2023 she was honored with the “Meritorious for Polish Culture” award.
Piotr Olech — countertenor. He graduated with honors from the Vocal-Acting Faculty of the St. Moniuszko Academy of Music in Gdańsk in the singing class of Prof. Piotr Kusiewicz. He is also a graduate of the Faculty of Music Education at the F. Chopin Academy of Music in Warsaw. He perfected his vocal skills during numerous master classes with artists such as Paul Esswood, Kai Wessel and members of the singing team The King's Singers.
He cooperates with the Warsaw Chamber Opera, the Polish Royal Opera, the National Opera in Brno, as well as with Polish and foreign philharmonics and chamber orchestras and ensembles, including the Wrocław Baroque Orchestra, Akademie für Alte Musik Berlin, {oh!} Orchestra, Vox Luminis, Concerto Köln, Wrocław Baroque Ensemble, Capella Cracoviensis, Fretwork, Solamente Naturali, Polyharmonic Ensemble, Musica Aeterna, Vasa Consort, Polish Concerto, Consortium Sedinum.
He performs with such conductors and instrumentalists as Marek Toporowski, Giovanni Antonini, Paul McCreesh, Władysław Kłosiewicz, Andrew Parrott, Jan Tomasz Adamus, Konrad Junghänel, Paul Goodwin, Andreas Spering, Jarosław Thiel, Fabio Bonizzoni, hosting major music festivals almost all over Europe. He also greatly appreciates his constant collaboration with the Collegium Vocale Gent and Philippe Herreweghe.
The artist is particularly fond of performing Baroque music, but he also reaches for classical, early romantic and contemporary works. He participates in CD recordings (more than 50 items) for such labels as DUX, CD Accord, Sony Music Polska, Bearton, Musicon. Seven albums were awarded the Polish Phonographic Industry Fryderyk Award, and one was awarded the International Classical Music Award in the Baroque Vocal category. At the same time, more than a dozen records received nominations for these awards.
Piotr Olech also works as a vocal educator. She works at the Institute of Music of Maria Curie-Skłodowska University in Lublin. He also collaborated with the Fryderyk Chopin University of Music in Warsaw and the F. Nowowiejski Academy of Music in Bydgoszcz. He is invited to conduct lectures, workshops and master classes dedicated to the vocal performance of baroque music. In 2024 he received the title of professor of art in the discipline of musical arts.
Bożena Bojaryn-Przybyla — soprano. She graduated in Music Education, specialising in conducting vocal and vocal-instrumental ensembles at the F. Chopin Academy of Music in Warsaw, Branch in Bialystok. She also graduated from the Postgraduate Study of Voice Emission at the F. Nowowiejski Academy of Music in Bydgoszcz. For 20 years she was the conductor of the Carmen Cathedral Choir operating at the Bialystok Cathedral. As a singer, soloist and chamber musician, she has collaborated with many chamber ensembles specializing in the performance of early music, including Cantus, Sine Nomine, Subtilior Ensemble, Concerto Polacco, Ars Nova. She toured with these bands, presenting the greatest musical works of the Renaissance and Baroque eras, and also made numerous recordings. She also continued her collaboration with bands operating in her hometown — Ensemble Quatro Voce, Diletto and Starosielskie Brotherhood of Singers.
Dr. Bożena Bojaryn-Przybila works as an assistant professor at the Aleksander Zelwerowicz Theatre Academy in Warsaw, Białystok Branch. He is also an employee of the Podlasie Opera and Philharmonic Choir in Białystok.
Rafael Gabriel Przybila — was born in 1972 in Bielsko-Biała. He studied at the Academy of Music in Cracow in the oboe class of Prof. Jerzy Kotyczka. As a scholarship holder, he participated in many early music courses, studying under the guidance of such baroque oboe masters as Paul Goodwin, Alfredo Bernardini, Bruce Haynes, Frank de Bruine and Ku Ebbinge. In September 1998, he began his specialist postgraduate studies at the Royal Academy of Music in London in the Baroque Oboe class of Professor Sophia McKenna.
During the 1999—2000 concert season, he was the first oboist of the European Union Baroque Orchestra (EUBO) and participated in European tours conducted by Roy Goodman and Lars Ulrik Mortensen. He collaborates with leading bands specializing in the performing current using historical instruments. He has played with many conductors, including Philippe Herreweghe, Andrew Parrott, Joshua Rifkin, Jean-Claude Malgoire and Mark Stryncl. Since April 2005 he has been the oboist of the Musicae Antiquae Collegium Varsoviense ensemble of the Warsaw Chamber Opera. He teaches a baroque oboe class at the Academy of Music in Łódź and the F. Chopin School of Music in Warsaw. In March 2024, he obtained the title of Doctor of Art from the Academy of Music in Łódź on the basis of his work The Rise and Development of the Oboe and the Sonata Form for Oboe and Basso continuo in Europe at the turn of the 17th and 18th centuries.
