How did the inhabitants of Warsaw dress 150 years ago and how long did it take to get embroidered for the big ball? We will discover what outfits were worn by elegant ladies and gentlemen of the old years. Together we will explore the secrets of 19th century urban fashion and find out where the people of Warsaw were looking for the most beautiful silks, feathers and accessories. In the art part, we will design our own, spacious accessories, hats or stylish ornaments for special occasions.

Discoverer of Warsaw classes. Family encounters with history are a journey full of surprises through the Warsaw Things exhibition, in which the old Warsaw comes to life before the eyes of the participants.

Every encounter is a new skill — from spotting details hidden in paintings and objects, to creating your own creations inspired by the city's history. We focus on Warsaw in the 19th century — at the time of Stanisław Wokulski and Izabela Łęcka.
