The Odyssey - subtitles

Christopher Nolan, the creator of such films as “Interstellar” and “Oppenheimer”, once again proves that he is not afraid of ambitious topics or new genre challenges. After the huge success of “Oppenheimer”, awarded seven Oscars, the director brings to the big screen one of the most important works of Western literature - Homer's “Odyssey”.

The film will tell the story of Odysseus, king of Ithaca, who, after the end of the Trojan War, embarks on a journey home full of dangers. In his path will stand mythical creatures, powerful gods and numerous trials that will test his courage, cunning and determination.

Although Homer's poem has already been adapted many times, Nolan's version is intended to be a spectacle on an unprecedented scale. The production will be shot using IMAX technology, thanks to which the ancient world, monumental landscapes and the legendary adventures of Odysseus are to be given an extremely realistic and spectacular setting.

The film's impressive cast includes Matt Damon, Tom Holland, Anne Hathaway, Zendaya, Robert Pattinson, Lupita Nyong'o and Charlize Theron.

Everything indicates that “The Odyssey” will be one of the most anticipated and spectacular films in the work of Christopher Nolan.
