RECOVERED

“Recovered” is the directorial debut of Marcin Kwaśny — a moving, emotional story about family, forgiveness and the difficult path to regain lost time.

Janek struggles to survive every day and takes care of her sick mother, struggling with the burden of being abandoned by her alcoholic father. When his life falls over the precipice, the man who failed most unexpectedly returns. Inspired by the parable of the prodigal son, the story raises the question of whether it is possible to rebuild a broken relationship and forgive the greatest wounds.

Starring Filip Gurłacz and Andrzej Mastalerz, they create heated and emotional creations in this subtle, deep drama about the hope of a second chance.
