The films are about emigration, immigration, longing and loss. They tell about adaptation in a new place and the encountered language barrier, intolerance and xenophobia.
We will find answers to important questions: What does it mean to adapt to a new place? How does an immigrant feel in a foreign country? What problems does he face? How does the local community relate to “strangers”? What is xenophobia? How are foreigners supported in Poland?

The Kicksled Choir (Choir on a sleigh)/Norway/ 2020
10-year-old Gabriel loves to sing and has one desire: to sing in the local choir, which rides sledges and is known for its kindness and love for the refugees from the village. But when Gabriel's father gets into a fight with one of the refugees, the boy's joining the choir becomes questionable.

Immobile Stars (Real Stars)/France/2022
Chenghua, 9, tries to prepare a school presentation about space with a friend, but struggles with a huge burden - her parents do not speak French and rely on her as an interpreter for every matter. Overwhelmed by this responsibility, the girl seeks her own path to independence

Girl Away From Home/Norway, Denmark/2023
13-year-old Nastya, a talented and elite gymnast from Kiev. Nastya, together with her tight-knit group of friends from the team, wins the Ukrainian gymnastics championship. Soon after the success, full-scale hostilities erupt in Ukraine. The girl is forced to flee the country. Nastya goes to Germany under the care of her grandmother, away from her parents and friends. He needs to find himself in a new environment, cope with fear for loved ones and draw strength from sports.
