The performance has the characteristics of a musical monodrama. However, the whole is kept in a cheerful, humorous mood, far from tragic choices. His heroine, of course, is the eponymous Woman, who tells about the sometimes banal and sometimes strongly surprising events of her life.
In these stories, the thread of the desire to break out of the stone circle of duties into the world of dreams, growing anxiety and attempts to regain inner balance.
The songs accompanying the lyrics are known from the recordings of Halina Kunicka, a singer extremely popular in the 1960s and 1970s. Many texts were written especially for her by excellent Polish authors: Wojciech Młynarski, Agnieszka Osiecka and Ernest Bryll, and the music for the songs performed during the performance was created by Jerzy Derfel.
In the recital, however, Joanna Wąż performs not those best known to the “born a little earlier” admirers of Halina Kunicka's talent, but still brilliantly sounding and reaching every generation of audience, atmospheric and excellent poetically songs by Wojciech Młynarski.
