Olga Hair

After ten years, Olga Matu returns to the stage with music that is a record of a personal journey — from love that comes like a tsunami, to blooming magnolias, to stars exploding in the sky with unimaginable light. These are first and foremost new, original works in Polish — sincere and personal.

Olga Matu is a singer, composer and songwriter. For several years she lived and created in Boston and New York. Her music grows out of jazz and soul, but she is closest to a song — melodic, personal and full of emotion. It was with her original songs that she became a finalist at the Montreux Jazz Festival songwriting competition.

This concert will be a special meeting with Olga's new music. Especially for this evening, arrangements were created by Albert Karch, which will allow her songs to sound in a broad, organic sound.
