OLIVVER makes Store VEGA quiver with velour-soft hip-hop

Some steps can feel bigger than others. And for Danish OLIVVER, the next step in his career is not just a single one, but the combination of the release of the EP Forladmigej and the announcement of the musician's biggest concert ever.

Because on May 29, the EP was sent for release, and on March 27, 2027, it is from the stage of Store VEGA that OLIVVER will send out its lyrical language flowers into the hall.

The EP is, according to the press release: “A project written from a place where the mask has fallen and where the songs revolve around losing direction, pushing people away and yet being met by someone who stays standing.

OLIVVER, along with songwriter Augusta Schackinger, was on everyone's lips last year with the EP frontrunner and hit single “Destroyed Byen”, which triumphed on Spotify and TikTok.

In 2021, OLIVVER took another big step in his career with the release of his debut album, Avagen.

A release that quivered between the hip-hop genre SoundCloud rap and pure, velour-soft pop aesthetics infused with OliVer's pensive textual universe. The combination, as on Forladmigej, is symptomatic of the musician and is a clear and distinct musical approach to the big emotions.

Soundvenue then also grabbed the reviewer pen, throwing four stars after the album and writing:

“Vågen shows first of all that he could very well become a Danish rap star who can do something a little different from all the others”.
