OLSZTYN, I LOVE AND I KNOW!

IOC Olsztyn invites you to celebrate Olsztyn's birthday together! Come in droves on Sunday 25 October to the trolleybus depot at Knosały 3A, where a special birthday party will begin at 16:00!

This time our traditional, annual tournament of knowledge about the city “What do you know about Olsztyn?” will gain a new formula — we transfer the competition to a modern application. Thanks to this, the fun will be faster, more dynamic and, above all, accessible to a much larger number of participants. We play without elimination, and anyone who visits the Depot that day can join the quiz. Just bring your own charged mobile device — a smartphone or tablet — that can be connected to your Wi-Fi network.

What do you know about Olsztyn? Probably quite a lot. You know which way is the shortest to the Old Town, where it is best to jump to the lake, which street can surprise with traffic and where you can meet half the city on a Saturday afternoon. You know your places, your routes and your Olsztyn stories. So much everyday knowledge about the city that it is high time to check how much of it you really have.

It is not necessary to know by heart all the dates, names and events from the city annals. We are also moving away from highly thematic categories. We want everyone to be able to try their hand — regardless of whether they have lived in Olsztyn for generations or only recently spoke about it “with us”. It is not necessary to be a highly qualified olsztynologist - all you need is curiosity and a little competitive spirit!

The quiz will be the main point of the program, but not the only one! We also prepare additional contests with prizes, attractions and surprises — of course all with Olsztyn in the lead role.

It is worth joining the game, because there is something to fight for! For the three participants with the best results, we have prepared cash prizes with a total pool of PLN 3000.

If someone prefers to cheer rather than respond — the audience is also very welcome! Or will you change your mind at the last minute? Who knows.
