Omar is a Palestinian baker who regularly climbs over the West Bank Wall to visit his secret love Nadia. After being captured and tortured by Israeli police, he makes a deal to cooperate — and is caught in a web of mistrust, betrayal and love, where the line between resistance and betrayal is constantly moved. The film won the Special Jury Prize in Un Certain Regard at Cannes 2013 and was Oscar-nominated as Best Foreign Language Film.
