Guided tour: Carl Jacobsen's collection: the tale of the Glyptotek

The collection of the glyptotek contains tales from millennia.

The tour is free when the entrance to the museum is paid. Tour tickets cannot be pre-booked but will be picked up in the ticket sales on the day. Tickets are not issued for groups of more than five. Larger groups are referred to book a private tour.

From objects from ancient Mediterranean cultures to Danish and French sculpture and painting from the 19th and 20th centuries. On this tour we delve into the genesis of the collection. Through selected highlights, we examine who and what has shaped it, while also talking about the role of the museum today.
