Long before the Roman Empire became the great power of the Mediterranean, the Etruscan civilization flourished in central Italy.
The tour is free when the entrance to the museum is paid. Tour tickets cannot be pre-booked but will be picked up in the ticket sales on the day. Tickets are not issued for groups of more than five. Larger groups are referred to book a private tour.
On this tour we get very close to the Etruscans and their fascinating history.
Through the Glyptotek's collection of Etruscan tomb paintings, sculptures and crafts, we explore an often forgotten culture where lavish banquets, boundless luxury, lightning omens and an eternal afterlife were at the center.
