One Man Act - a series of concerts on the Market Square

The One Man Act is our new proposal. We hope that the series of mini-concerts on the Market Square in late September and early October will appeal to you and will become a new tradition. We invite you on 17 and 24 September and 2 and 9 October. Artists include Phillip Bracken, Adam Snopek, Zuzanna and Ewelina Adamus and Piotr Janeczko.

On 17 September at 17.00, Phillip Bracken - Australian musician living in Poland since 2013 will perform. His music is an emotional journey through funk, ambient, soul, indie-folk and world music. He is a creator who is constantly looking for new sounds and forms of expression. It combines diverse styles in a natural and authentic way, creating music that is deeply moving and emotionally multidimensional.

On the same day at 18.00 on the Market Square there will be a dance for the residents, which will be preceded by a short dance workshop. This is part of the project “Mikołów dances close to home” implemented as part of “We are moving to Mikołów”, co-financed by the Ministry of Culture and National Heritage within the program of the National Culture Center Dom Kultury+ Edition 2026.

On 24 September at 17.00 we invite you to a piano show, in which Adam Snopek will present his program “From Bach to AC/DC or about music for fun”. Musical quizzes, curiosities from the life of the greatest artists and countless twists and turns - we will sing, laugh, shake and grab the head - one thing is for sure you will not pass by this event indifferently! Premiere performances and lots of musical surprises await you! Crazy fun to the rhythm of the greatest musical hits with your active participation! ATTENTION! DUE TO THE WEATHER, THE CONCERT WILL TAKE PLACE IN THE LIBRARY!

On October 2 at 17.00 Zuzanna will perform - vocalist, multi-instrumentalist and songwriter. Her original work is a literary song of the highest standard, seasoned with a touch of folk sounds. Traditional musical forms dressed in a contemporary look and expression create an interesting and coherent story. She sings, accompanying on piano, guitar and accordion. On his account he has quite a few awards from the most important national festivals of artistic song and performances throughout the country.

On October 9 at 17.00 we will let ourselves break the formula a little and invite the duo to perform. But for such artists it is worth making exceptions. Ewelina Adamus and Piotr Janeczko are singing conductors, clarinetist and guitarist, actors of cabaret performances. In their concerts they combine live music, acting interpretation and good contact with the audience. They take listeners on a journey through the most beautiful pieces of Polish music - from cabaret and film songs to classics of Polish pop music. Their concerts are not only listening, but also singing together, emotions and having fun. On a daily basis, they perform, among others, on the boards of the Krakow Piwnica pod Baranami, where they can be seen in the performances of the Czardasz Foundation.
