Painfully beautiful songs with Only The Poets in VEGA
The quartet from Reading have just released their long-awaited second studio album And I'd Do It Again (2026). Written and recorded over seven intense months, the album showcases new sides of the band's eminent songwriting abilities.
On And I'd Do it Again, they present the listener with a magnificent soundscape in which poetic lyricism dovetails between glittering synth surfaces and epic hooks. About the album, the band states in the press release:
“We're just so proud of this album and that we had the courage to make it. It's the best representation of us as a band — there's been a lot of self-reflection, growth and discovery. We can't wait for everyone to hear it.”
Their songs take a dive into big existentialist issues and dissect big topics like love, loss and mental health.
Only The Poets has become the mouthpiece for a generation that is not afraid to talk openly up difficult topics. And it is precisely this emotional openness that has created a massive hype around them.
The band has previously toured as support for giant names such as Lewis Capaldi, Bastille and YOUNGBLUD. The band recently made history by playing a completely sold-out gig at the iconic O2 Academy Brixton in London, with tickets costing just £1 to highlight accessibility in the live music scene.
In November, they will have time to stand still in Little VEGA as they open up a heartfelt space where poetry and melody go hand in hand.
