About the event
On the occasion of Independence Day, we invite you to travel through the history of Polish opera and Polish dance against the background of important events for our country. In a light and at times entertaining form we will introduce you to fragments of the greatest operas such as “Halka”, “Scary manor”, “Manru”, “Legend of the Baltic”, “King Roger” and their creators, outstanding composers, among others: Stanisław Moniuszka, Karol Kurpiński, Feliks Nowowiejski, Ignacy Jan Paderewski, Karol Szymanowski, as well as traditional Polish dances with polonaise and mazur in the lead role. In this concert, it is music that will tell the history of Poland.” Opera and the Polish Affair” is a performance that combines a concert of Polish opera music with stage comedy. The two presenters, interacting with each other and the audience, will try together with the artists to create in a somewhat funny, intelligent and family tone stories about culture, history and community. Performance performed by the Soloists and Orchestra of the Opera na Zamek and with the guest participation of the Szczecinianie Song and Dance Ensemble. We invite you! Honorary patronage of the event was taken by the Marshal of the West Pomeranian Voivodeship Olgierd Geblewicz.
