Opera? Yes!

This is the 18th season of the Opera series! Yes!

Just don't be intimidated by the big words that are about to come! In the eighteenth season of Opera? Yes! we will treat opera as an excuse to talk about emotions, values and memory.

Emotions. What emotions accompany us during the performance, and which ones to the performers? How do they trigger them? Do we all feel the same aria the same way?

Values. Opera often tells about a world whose order is far from us today. And it moves away more and more. Should she follow the changes or rather defend the old? Or is it just that it can become a place of conversation for viewers who are a little lost in today's world?

Memory. Or rather oblivion — we want to recall works, music, creators, performers who have fallen out of the mainstream somewhere along the way of history. And it seems unfair to us, because they still have something to say to us.

But we will reflect on all this with humor, anecdote and a lot of music. Because as far as we remember correctly, the most valuable emotion for our viewers is — pleasure.
