Opera in the Palace — 5th edition
The Opera House is already five years old! This year we do not slow down and invite you to other events. We composed the program of the jubilee edition inspired by the cradle of opera — Italy. In July we invite you to Pietro Mascagni's “Peasant Chivalry”, and in September — to the Italian Opera Gala.

People of the palace and farmhouse/lecture and guided tour
Who, besides the Belinsky family, could you meet on the territory of their estate? The place, which today we associate with rest in nature and surrounded by art, lived in its own rhythm in the past centuries. A rhythm set by the seasons, which was set by everyone associated with the palace and the surrounding farmhouse. We invite you to the story of the people who created this place.

“Chivalry of a peasant” /opera by Pietro Mascagni in concert arrangement
Viewers who first saw “Peasant Chivalry” in Rome in 1890 rewarded the performance with a hot ovation. Soon after, this opera conquered all the significant European stages. Its action takes place during the Easter period and shows the village as it is. In his music, Mascagni embodied the beauty of nature, the exuberance of the characters and the drama of provincial life. In the melodies and words of the libretto, human emotions, conflicts and local rites also resonate, which makes “Peasant Chivalry” particularly readable and moving also for the modern audience.
