Queen of the Austro-Hungarian operetta! It's Budapest Variété that is buzzing with chardash and revelry — charming dancers, diner losers and, finally, Prince Edwin's fiery romance with the beautiful chansonist Sylvia Varescu. It is a story of timeless and captivating love, underpinned by the scandal of messianism. “Artistki z Variété”, “To the rhythm of the fighter, the heart sings”, “Sylvia's Czardasz” are just a few of the hits festivals of this operetta. “Princess Chardash” is more than a story about two people in love with each other. The tension of the drama of difficult love is hilariously discharged by the supporting characters. They captivate the viewer with witty dialogues and gags, not sparing jokes and references to modern times. The “Princess of Czardash” by the Castello Music Theatre had its premiere in January 2014 at the Moszna Castle.
