Franz Lehar's 1905 operetta The Merry Widow was a huge success and was hailed as a masterpiece of the genre. It is recognized as the best and most often played operetta, overflowing with the very best hits of operetta scenes. The mouth is silent, the soul sings. We present a full musical performance with colorful costumes, refined choreography and original scenography! On the stage there are soloists of international music scenes, winners of vocal competitions, who delight the audience with excellent voices and amuse to tears with the vicissitudes of the main characters. They are accompanied by the Arte Creatura Theatre Orchestra composed of outstanding musicians, virtuosos of their instruments, under the direction of a renowned conductor.

The widow of the title is young Hanna Glawari, whose husband, a wealthy banker, dies after only eight days of marriage, leaving her with an incredible fortune. The banker was a citizen of the small principality of Pontevedro, therefore the widow, or rather her property, arouses general interest. The Pontevedra treasury minister himself advises subordinates to take care of a woman so that she does not marry a foreigner and her money does not go abroad. Meanwhile, Hanna goes to Paris, where she meets a compatriot and her former love — Count Daniła. Once their relationship was opposed by Daniła's family, as Hanna was a poor virgin, now pride takes away the Count's courage to reveal his feelings. He proposes only after learning that in the event of a remarriage, Hannah's estate will be lost. This is, of course, a social treasure, but about it on the show!

The cheerful widow has been entertaining the audience for years with a bold and witty libretto and gripping music. The production of Merry Widow on New York's Broadway (1944), directed by Jan Kiepura himself, with him and Martha Eggert in the lead roles, gained worldwide fame. The main roles will be performed by artists of the Arte Creatura Musical Theatre, including: Maria Hubluk as Hanna Glawari, Jarosław Wewióra as Count Daniło Danilowitsch, Wioletta Liber as Valencienne, Chaoran Zuo as Camille de Rosillon, Adam Żaak as Baron Mirko Zeta, Grzegorz Biernacki as Vicomte Cascada, Paweł Sodl She played Raoul de St. Brioche, Marcin Konopacki as Bogdanowitsch, Grażyna Bieniek-Żaak as Sylviane, Monika Mazur/Aleksandra Rusek as Olga, Agnieszka Styblińska-Elbin/Roksana Wiercigroch as Praskowia, Piotr Rybak/Marcin Wlosinski as Njegus.

Direction and choreography: Anna Siwczyk The soloists are accompanied by the Arte Creatura Music Theatre Orchestra conducted by Marek Kudra/Maciej Perzanowski
