Babysitter for the kill

The city on the Vistula holds many secrets, just like its inhabitants. Among the old districts of Warsaw, one shines with its freshness and exclusivity — Wilanów. In a certain apartment, where Dior mingles with mystery, and Michelin stars themselves jump into the broth, a very wealthy man fell into a too deep sleep. He requires expensive care, which is why he was hired by a poor babysitter — Zofia Kramarczyk (Dorota Chotecka).

About the event

A woman with a heart of gold, nerves of steel and deep faith. He leads a quiet, though not easy life in Szurmejowice. When there is a chance to improve fate, Sofia does not hesitate for a moment. She starts working in the prestigious “Miasteczko Wilanów”, as the babysitter of Mr. Stanisław and the housekeeper of the splendid and exquisitely greedy Alicja (Lucyna Malec/Justyna Sieńczyłło). When a native Shurmiejowicz thinks that life has finally smiled at her, unexpected guests appear at the door of the residence — as befits Wilanów — very presentable! The violinist Dorota (Milena Staszuk) is striking with beauty and brilliance, and tactfully more modest beauty, jealous of Mirek's killing (Radosław Pazura).

Will Saint Jamrozhi help Sophia, the victim, get out of trouble? And, standing face to face with criminals, our heroine will defend her doctorate from life? You will find out in September!

Dorota Chotecka and Radosław Pazura for the first time together on stage in a surprising crime comedy by Aldona Jankowska and Aleksandra Wolf. “Babysitter to Kill” is a subtle and devious tale of human passions and weaknesses, showing that it's never too late to change your life. With a grain of salt on the whims of the big city and out of love for Warsaw, we invite you to a murderously funny spectacle dripping with criminal thrill.

This is Dorota Chotecka's show! She plays the main character, she is almost all the time on stage, all the action takes place around her, she is her main moderator, she has the most to play, in her the biggest transformation takes place. Chotecka showed great courage in taking on the role, but thanks to this she can present her extraordinary acting skills, one might say — without any embellishment. What a vis comica! She's excellent! And it presents itself in a whole range of emotional and mental states caused by the events in which it participates. Once again, Chotecka is excellent.

It takes a while to get into the convention of this story, but once you get in, it's hard to stop yourself from laughing carefree. The story is incredibly funny and written with a real claw. At times delightfully peppery, at times completely politically incorrect. The role of Zofia was masterfully mastered by the creators, and Dorota Chotecka, let us repeat, is simply to be eaten. It is also difficult to take your eyes off Lucyna Malec, who knows perfectly well where the boundaries lie in this genre, and moves around them with grace and class.
