Santa's Tale

Traveling around Poland, Santa Claus visits children living in different corners of our country. He tries to make everyone's dream come true, but he himself admits that this is not an easy task. Finally he arrives in Wroclaw. A letter from a boy leads him straight to the National Forum of Music. Meanwhile, in the concert hall, filled to the brim with the youngest audience, an orchestra enters the stage and the concert begins. Jan Stefani's energetic, colorful Overture performed by the NFM of the Wrocław Philharmonic attracts the attention of the saint, who shyly looks at it from one side, then from the other side of the scenes. Finally, he gains the courage to come out of hiding and reveal to the children where he came from and what surprises he brought them.

The concert with the participation of Santa Claus is a real musical celebration dedicated to children. Our guest will talk about the symphonic works of Polish artists and places that inspire them to draw from the native culture. Colourful compositions based on folk melodies will transport listeners to Krakow's Market Square, where the hymn from the St. Mary's Tower sounds. During the Christmas market, among the stands filled with various toys, figurines and colorful Christmas balls, children will watch a show with the participation of puppets. And with the help of a pair of professional dancers, they will learn the basic steps of the polonese and krakowiak. Santa Claus will also introduce the participants of the meeting to the musical traditions of Wrocław — he will reveal which great artists visited and performed here.

Musical gifts from different regions of our country will allow the participants of the concert to get to know the native culture with all the richness of its traditions and customs.
