The Christmas Tale

The Christmas story takes place in the setting of nineteenth-century London, on one of the streets of the city filled with the atmosphere of Christmas, joyful anticipation of Christmas Eve and caroling. It is a theatrical tale of Scrooge, a man who is stingy, insensitive to human needs, who is alien to doing good to his neighbor. On Christmas Eve, when the real world can intersect with extraterrestrial reality, he is given the opportunity to experience an encounter with three spirits. The spirit of the past Christmas Eve allows him to return to the past, the other spirit shows him the Christmas Eve of his poor worker and nephew, and the spirit of the coming Christmas Eve comes to Scrooge to discover a sad future ahead of him — his death and the theft of his carefully collected wealth. These meetings contribute to Scrooge's inner transformation and awaken in him a desire to make amends for the wrongs he has done so far.

The performance, played on the acting and puppet stage, is a poignant expression of the message of Christmas.
