Christmas show inspired by Charles Dickens's Christmas Eve Tale. The script, in which the action takes place in a tenement house in Wrzeszcz, was written by Tri-City improviser and playwright Szymon Jachimek, the play was directed by the director of Miniatura Michał Derlatka, and the music was composed by Mikołaj Trzaska.
Students from Gdańsk elementary school are given the task to prepare a play based on Dickens's famous story, and they invite the inhabitants of their tenement house to participate. One of them is the owner of the townhouse Leon, snappy and reluctant to make any contacts.
The performance took part in the 30th National Competition for the Exhibition of Polish Contemporary Art
The National Competition for the Exhibition of Polish Contemporary Art aims to reward the most interesting repertory research in Polish theatre, to support domestic dramaturgy in its stage productions and to popularize Polish contemporary drama. The competition is organized by the Ministry of Culture and National Heritage and the Zbigniew Raszewski Theatre Institute in Warsaw.
In the first stage of the Competition, the performances are evaluated by the Artistic Committee composed of: Jacek Sieradzki (chairman), Dominik Gac, Piotr Hildt, Anna Jazgarska, Szymon Kazimierczak, Andrzej Lis, Wanda Świętkowska
