Educational meetings for children from 3 to 10 years old will be an opportunity to learn about the history, traditions and extraordinary heritage of Tyniec. Adults can also participate in the activities, so they become a space to discover, play and acquire knowledge together.
We want to show that learning can be a great adventure, and spending time together with your child can be an opportunity to learn new, fascinating stories. The meetings will take the form of fun, stories and sensory experiences that will stimulate the imagination and allow participants to better feel the atmosphere of old times.
Meeting hours
Children: 3-6 years with parent/guardian
10:00-10:45
Children: 7-10 years (guardian not required)
11:00-11:45
During the class, we will move into the past - to the times when life looked completely different, and there was no electricity yet. We will learn about the old customs, objects, ways of working and everyday life of the inhabitants of Tyniec. Thanks to this, children and adults will be able to discover together what the reality of our ancestors looked like.
The meetings also aim to build ties with the small homeland of Tyniec — learning about its history, traditions and unique character and reinforcing the sense that the place where we live can hide many extraordinary stories.
Do you know the story of the beautiful Helgunda and the brave Walgier Wdady? During this meeting we will move to the times when Tyniec looked completely different, and in the stronghold you could meet warriors, princes and beautiful princesses.
We will listen to one of the most famous Tynecy legends, get to know its heroes and try to discover together what happened centuries ago. We will use our imagination, play the heroes of the story and perform tasks inspired by the legend.
It will be a journey through time, during which we will see that Tyniec has his own extraordinary stories and heroes!
