Anthropological tour of the exhibition “Bodies of the Earth. Our Bodies” with Anna Zadrozna

A work of art can be read not only through the prism of art history. How will the meaning change when we look at them through the eyes of an anthropologist?

We invite you to a specialized tour of the exhibition “Bodies of the Earth. Our bodies”, during which anthropologist Anna Zadrozna will propose her own ways of interpreting the presented works. The meeting will be an opportunity to look at the exhibition from a different perspective — from biological processes occurring in the plant world, through philosophical questions about the limits of humanity, to reflection on the relationship between culture, nature and responsibility for the environment.

The tour is a proposal for all who want to discover how different fields of knowledge interpenetrate each other and how a change of perspective can open up new ways of looking, both at art and at the world around us.
